Our History

The Artist’s Collective is open to all practicing artists and supporters of the Arts primarily to promote, support and showcase individual and group arts production.

To exhibit in the gallery spaces, one needs to be a member of Wombat Regional Arts Network Inc. Membership details can be found on the Wombat Arts website. Members will be able to participate in all Wombat Arts events and workshops etc. Further fees apply per exhibition when exhibiting.

The Ballan Arts Space opened in mid 2022, the venue consists of gallery spaces. The gallery has dedicated space for short term (1-6 weeks) feature exhibitions, and spaces that promote collective members artwork on an on-going basis. In July 2024, the Ballan & District Artists Collective became a part of Wombat Regional Arts Network Inc.

The Gallery Shop is open during Collective exhibitions and features items from many local artists and makers.
